This year we will again be hosted by our brothers and sisters of Chapel Place Church in Markham, Ontario. The gathering will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1st, 2026, and go through the whole next day, until 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 2nd.

We are looking forward to welcoming our theme speaker, Rev. Dr. Jeremy McClung, who will teach about planting new churches, sharing both theory and lived experience. Jeremy serves as the pastor of Fellowship Christian Reformed Church in St. Thomas, Ontario, and directs the Institute of Evangelism at Wycliffe College. He has spent more than 25 years in pastoral ministry, mostly in church plant settings. He holds a PhD in pastoral theology/homiletics from Wycliffe College, and his research interests include evangelism, conversion, and the role of gratitude in preaching and spiritual formation. He is working on turning his dissertation, “Preaching for Grateful Response,” into a book to be published with Kregel in 2028. Jeremy has been married to April for 28 years and together they have three children and enjoy curling, board games, and golf.
Spiritual disciplines: Christlikeness in a World Gone Mad: led by Matthew Ruttan. This workshop will describe the disciplines, their purpose, and their role in becoming more like Christ and in conflict with the demonic. It will also provide practical helps for those feeling stuck and who desire a deeper and more joyful tethering to the Lord in a chaotic time.
House Churches Today: led by Shannon Bell. Is a house church a ‘real’ church? What benefits can they bring to our experience of church and how do they function?
New Models of Being Church: led by Timothy Ferrier, Preaching Consultant for The Bridge, Huntsville ON, and Donna Dawson, a Director and Elder for Living Faith Bible Church, Orleans ON. Hear about two churches who have found creative ways to be the church without full-time pastors. Both will share their model of ministry and invite discussion.
Chapel Place has a wonderful worship team who will lead us with music and praise both days. I’ve worshipped with Chapel Place and I can attest to the joy of their praises to God!
We hope you will join us. Bring your friends from church, family members, neighbours! Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, lunch on Saturday, and all snacks are included in the $75 cost of registration. We will enjoy Middle Eastern food for at least one meal. Mmmmm …
